This volume also features supplemental material including the essays "Freedom from Crime is No Job for Cowards!" by Max Allan Collins and "Real Weapons" by Jeff Kersten.

Notes

  • This volume includes an appearance by former Chief Brandon, who had not appeared in the strip since those featured in volume 12.
  • The Family Album & Mug Shot Files feature identifies Elia Mahoney only as "Mrs. Mahoney". It also refers to Herman as "Irma's Husband", though this could been done to avoid confusion with Herman (who is also included in the feature.
  • The promotional material for the subsequent collection (#29) refers to it as "...Our Final Volume".
