Stud Bronzen's unnamed brother operated a vagabond knife-sharpening cart in Dick Tracy's city. He had dark hair and a moustache. He resembled Stud physically and shared Stud's habit of chewing tobacco.
Helping Tracy[]
When Dick Tracy was investigating the murders being committed by the Blank, he deduced that Stud Bronzen would be the next likely target. He tracked down Stud's brother and demanded to know where Stud could be found.
Stud's brother resisted helping the police until Tracy informed him that Stud's life was in danger. Stud's brother then revealed where Stud's boat was anchored.

- The name of Stud's brother was never explicitly stated. At one point, Tracy addressed him as "Sap", but this was most likely an insult designed to intimidate the man into cooperating.
- While Stud's brother was aware of Stud's criminal activities and was hostile to police, there was no indication that he was a criminal himself.
