Polly Chrome was a successful sculptor and artist. She specialized in life-sized dioramas. She was a slender woman with dark hair and dark eyes.

Character Biography[edit | edit source]

Polly Chrome had an installation at the Art Dekko gallery in Dick Tracy's city. It was depiction of a gangland killing constructed of fiberglass and polyester resin.

Polly's work was so realistic that Art Dekko commissioned her to construct a dummy in his own likeness, paying twice her usual rate. Polly assumed that Dekko was indulging his vanity, but he actually used the piece to help establish his alibi for an art theft.

The Major Crimes Squad discovered Polly's connection to Dekko and questioned her. She cooperated with the police and was not charged with any wrongdoing.

Notes[edit | edit source]
