Matthew K. Manning is a writer. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina with his wife and their children.
Manning has written for DC Comics, Marvel, IDW, Skybound, Mad Cave, Abrams, Scholastic, Disney, DK Publishing, Insight Editions, Capstone, Andrews/McMeel, Running Press, and several other publishers. Some of his favorite projects include the mini-series Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, the hardcover The Batman Files, and the twelve-issue comic series Marvel Action: Avengers.
Matthew K. Manning wrote the 13th Minit Mystery, which introduced the character Mr. Mirror. Manning later wrote the six-week-long run of the newspaper comic strip that began on January 4, 2026. The story was drawn by Howie Noel (who had drawn the Minit Mystery that Manning had written).
