The man known as Ikky was an associate of the criminal Piggy Butcher.
After Piggy's steel smuggling operation was destroyed, he sought revenge against Moon Maid. He acquired a stolen laser weapon and arranged for Ikky to craft a pair of lead-lined gloves that would allow Pollyanna to handle the weapon safely. Piggy then sent Ikky to monitor Pollyanna's attempt to abduct Moon Maid.
As Ikky, Pollyanna, and Piggy's lawyer (who was also part of the scheme) were getting into a taxi, the group stumbled and knocked Pollyanna onto the laser weapon, accidentally setting it off. The three of them plus the cab driver were vaporized in the blast.
