Doug Nash was a stock broker and art collector who lived in Dick Tracy's city. He had light hair.

Doug Nash was a frequent visitor to the city's art museum. He suspected that some of the paintings on display were forgeries, and brought his concerns to the attention of the museum curator. The curator called upon the art critic Leitmo Tiv to verify the genuineness of the artworks, which Tiv did.

Nash was unconvinced, and he approached Dick Tracy with his concerns. Tracy was able to verify that some of the paintings were forgeries, and that Leitmo Tiv was part of Dab Stract's art theft gang. The original artworks were eventually recovered.
